Submitting Your Application
Gather your letters of recommendation first, before faculty members leave for the summer. If you are applying for more than one scholarship, ask the people writing your letters to address them to Dear Scholarship Committee, and to provide you multiple signed copies. You may submit one overall application for the book awards, but you must submit individual application, each with recommendation letters and copies of your transcript, for the other three scholarships. You may ask your college adviser to print out a Webstar transcript for you rather than purchase a transcript from the Registrar, but be prepared to submit an official transcript if the scholarship committee requests it.
All scholarship and book award applications are due no later than Friday, June 5, at 4:30 p.m. Make and save a copy your documents before submitting them in a large envelope marked with your name and the name of the scholarship for which you are applying. Submit your application packet at the College of Liberal Arts, Room 273 in Milneburg Hall.
